Hat City Cyclists is a recreational bicycle club founded in 1985. It's goal
is to enhance members' enjoyment of cycling by offering organized rides and
activities and informational programs. Through independent action and
affiliation with The League of American Bicyclists, the Club promotes and
encourages bicycling; provides safe pleasant opportunities to bicycle; and
addresses members' concerns by presenting them to regulatory and legislative
bodies locally, statewide, and nationally.
Pequot Cyclists
New
London, CT
The Pequot Cyclists Club is a non profit all-volunteer bicycling club
centered in southeastern Connecticut (New London county). We presently
have over 400 members. Our objectives include providing year round
cycling opportunities conducted in a friendly and social atmosphere.
While we do enjoy fitness through cycling, we are a recreational club,
not a racing club.
Sound Cyclists Bicycle
Club
P.O. Box 3323
Westport, Connecticut 06880
Sound Cyclists schedules rides every weekend throughout the year, with a
more extensive schedule in spring, summer, and autumn. Membership is
required to receive the ride schedule.
Cyclists of all abilities are able find a pace and a route to suit their
tastes. Rides are listed and described in the club newsletter by
distance, pace and terrain. During the height of the cycling season, the
club offers weekend rides for almost every ability level. Generally, the
faster a ride travels, the further it goes, and the more challenging the
terrain.
